Lisa Morgan

MBM Talent is defined by the energy, passion and creativity of owner/founder, Lisa Morgan. Lisa has more than 25 years of experience in all aspects of the entertainment industry including working on more than 20 Hollywood feature films and numerous network television series. With an incomparable ability to connect with young actors, Lisa is the originator and guiding spirt behind the MBM approach to talent discovery and development. Her in-depth knowledge and experience in casting and on-set coaching gives her the expertise to identify talent that have the potential to be marketed to top-level casting directors for upcoming TV, feature film and new media projects.

Lisa started her career in the early 90’s in her hometown of Chicago where she co-founded Kidz Casting. During that time, she worked on casting for a number of television and film projects such as: A Little Princess, Little Giants, Matilda, Babysitters Club, The Santa Clause, Camp Nowhere and many more. While working in casting, Lisa began managing her son Trevor Morgan’s career. Under Lisa’s guidance and direction, Trevor worked on numerous TV shows including a five-episode arc on ER, playing terminally ill patient Scott Anspaugh. His highly-praised performance led to his inclusion as a recipient of the 1998 Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. Trevor also appeared in many feature films including Mean Creek for which he received the 2004 Independent Spirit Awards’ Special Distinction Award for an Ensemble Cast. After seeing Trevor’s performance as Nathan in The Patriot, starring Mel Gibson, Steven Spielberg handpicked Trevor for the lead role of Eric Kirby in Jurassic Park III.

Upon successfully guiding Trevor’s career, Lisa was tapped to develop local talent by her many industry connections looking for fresh new talent outside of the Los Angeles market. Recently, Lisa has developed actors such as Zach Garcia (Chicago PD, recurring and Poor Boy, a 2016 Tribeca Film Festival Selection); Grace Davidson (Isabelle Dances Into the Spotlight); Brenna D’Amico (Disney’s Descendants); Gracie Ray Loveland (Babysitter, an official South by South West Selection, and Margaret and the Moon, an official Sedona International Film Festival Selection 2017); Grace Ransom (Cleveland Abduction, Chicago Justice), Joey Morgan (Scouts v.
